Every note on the frame.
Every round counted.

Clients open a link and draw on the shot — no account, no app. Check each fix against the same frame of the last cut. Komame keeps count of revision rounds, so “just one more change” has a number.

12.4s

“The hand at 12.4 seconds.” Sent as a screenshot.

That is how most feedback still travels: a cut uploaded to a drive, notes coming back in emails and spreadsheets. Which version was that note about? Is it fixed? Is this round two or round four?

Komame keeps the note on the frame, carries it to the next cut, and shows you the same frame side by side until it’s done.

01 CLIENT

Clients just open the link.

No account, no download. They type their name, tap the spot, write the note. Or draw it. Then Send — or OK when it’s final. Four buttons, nothing else.

02 COMPARE

Is it fixed? Check the same frame.

Drop in the next cut and every open note moves over to it. For each note, put the old and new frame side by side — or slide one over the other — and mark it fixed.

03 ROUNDS

“Is this really round three?”

Your quote says two rounds of revisions. Nothing was counting. Komame knows which round each note belongs to, whether it’s within the agreement, and how many rounds are left.

New asks — a new shot, a new animation — get an out-of-scope mark and are recorded separately. Fewer “but you said” emails, and a clear basis for an extra quote.

How it differs from Frame.io and monthly tools.

Frame-accurate comments and sign-up-free links are standard now. The difference is how you pay, where your footage lives, and counting the rounds.

No seats, no storage tiers. Your footage never lives on our servers, so review links cost almost nothing to run and the one-time purchase keeps working. Add Sharing Plus only if you want 1080p and your own logo. Pricing will be announced at launch.

Questions

Do clients need an account or an app?

No. They open the link in a browser and type their name. It works on phones too.

Where does my footage go?

Your source files stay on your Mac. Only a 720p review copy is uploaded so clients can watch it, and it is deleted when the link expires or you stop sharing.

Can I use it for projects under NDA?

Links can take a password and an expiry date, and you can stop sharing at any time. The review copy does pass through an internet server, so check your agreement first.

How are revision rounds counted?

Notes on v1 are round one, notes on v2 are round two, and so on. New requests get an out-of-scope mark and are recorded apart from the rounds.

Which editing apps does it work with?

Any exported video works. Notes can be exported as Premiere Pro markers or a DaVinci Resolve EDL.

Windows or iPad?

Mac first. Other platforms depend on what people ask for.

When can I use it?

It is being tested by the maker’s own production team now, and there is no release date yet. People on the waitlist hear first about the beta and the launch.

We’ll tell you when it’s ready.

Leave your email to get the beta invite and the launch note. We use it for nothing else (privacy policy).
